Benefits of Montessori

The most important period of life is not the age of university studies but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement is being formed.
— - Dr. Maria Montessori

Toddlers through adolescents, Montessori students are inculcated with order, coordination and independence because the method of education is based on self-directed activity and hands-on learning and age-appropriate activities are carried out to guide the process. Montessori preschool students are provided with a classroom and curriculum designed around their specific needs and abilities. This helps them to learn at their own pace and on their own terms. The classroom is a multi age classroom, typically spanning 3 years, wherein the older students then become the mentors and the younger students feel supported. To sum it up, Montessori students are able to think and reason critically, work collaboratively and act boldly.

The focus is on a fundamental and multifaceted development of the child.
