WEEK 7: JULY 10–14
MAKING MASTERPIECES
We will explore art techniques and themes through children's literature this week! At the end of the week, we will host an “art gallery” with the work the children have created. The story will inspire students to create their own unique art. The exhibition will be open to parents, who can pick up their children's works.
WEEK 2: JUNE 5–9
AROUND THE WORLD
Bon voyage to your camper as they embark on an adventure around the world! Children will learn about a variety of landmarks, flags, animals, food, music, and instruments from countries around the world, as well as cultural aspects. Make sure their passports are up-to-date, it's time to travel!
WEEK 3: JUNE 12–16
COOKING & GARDENING
Children will learn about nutrition, gardening, and food culture in a fun and interactive way during this week. The week will culminate with a picnic prepared by the children, where they will learn where their food comes from, how food nourishes their bodies, and what types of food others enjoy around the world.
WEEK 9: JULY 24–28
ON THE GO
Let's get going! In this camp about planes, trains, and automobiles, children will learn about how vehicles work through tactile materials. The children will encounter a variety of modes of transportation and hear stories about them. After that, they will create their own using their imagination and art supplies.
WEEK 5: JUNE 26–30
OLYMPICS
As we learn and play Olympic themed games, your child will have a fun-filled week of physical activity. In addition to learning about the cultural and historical significance of this worldwide competition, they'll be inspired by famous Olympians who overcame great odds to succeed. This is going to be a great week!
WEEK 6: JULY 3–7
FOURTH OF JULY
Camp not in session July 4
Many patriotic activities will be offered to children, including fun with flags and star-spangled art! We will engage in a science activity to learn about fireworks, and prepare red, white, and blue foods to mark Independence Day. A fun, festive parade will be held for kids as well as a hats off to the 4th.
WEEK 1: MAY 30–JUNE 2
UNDER THE SEA
This is a 4 day camp due to Memorial Day
You are invited to join our Wonderland Divers as they explore the wonders of the seas with us. Children will learn about sea creatures, how oceans move, and how we can protect our oceans. In addition to hands-on activities and crafts, your young explorer will learn how ocean animals move, eat, and interact!
WEEK 8: JULY 17–30
IN THE WILD
Let's get wild! In this week's lesson, we'll learn about animals, their habitats, and more. Your child will discover the world of backyard birds, observe insect behaviors, create art based on mammals, learn about amphibian life cycles, and explore marine life and sea creatures in the depths of the ocean. They won't want to miss out on this animal adventure!
WEEK 4: JUNE 20–23
HELPFUL HEROES
This is a 4 day camp due to Juneteenth
We will learn about community helpers who support us with safety, transportation, building, health care, farming, and cooking. We will explore vehicles, uniforms, and tools used in some professions, and become more acquainted with these everyday heroes. Everybody has a helping hand and we will discuss how to help others.
WEEK 10: JULY 31–AUGUST 4
STEAM
Through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math projects and activities, your child will develop critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. The use of STEAM activities allows children to bring advanced concepts to a comprehensive understanding and practical application by building a framework.
