Sara Wehring, Licensing Coordinator
Sara Wehring (Pronounced “Wearing”) has served as the Licensing Coordinator for the Wonderland Montessori Schools since May of 2023. Sara graduated from Texas State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Child & Family Development. She interned and volunteered at Greater San Marcos Youth Council’s Children Shelter before becoming a professional nanny. Sara later worked for a Child Placing Agency for four and a half years as a case manager and Assistant Regional Director, before becoming the statewide Compliance Director. Sara’s career is diverse, including a stint in construction, but she is always drawn back to working with children and families. Her previous career milestones include leading her team through accreditation, being provided the opportunity to rewrite the agency's training curriculum, and leading a quality control pilot program. Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, knitting, binge reading, watching blockbuster flops, and attempting to raise stubborn guinea pigs.
