Charlane Baccus

Head of School

Charlane was a Montessori child from 14 months through the 8th grade growing up in her family’s Montessori schools on the East Coast. Her family schools were visited by Dr. Mario Montessori on numerous occasions. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and has a Masters of Education in Montessori Integrative Learning and an Association Montessori International Primary (3-6) diploma. Charlane founded several Montessori schools in Texas. She has been Head of School for Montessori schools that served Nido through High School. She has over 20 years in private school administration. Charlane was a founding member of the Montessori Institute of North Texas, an Association Montessori Institute training center and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. Her daughter is a Sophomore in high school and was also a Montessori child. Charlane has traveled the world and enjoys volunteering for non-profits in the North Texas region. She continues to be involved in education and just completed the Leadership NISD program through Northwest ISD. She loves to spend time with family and friends. She is excited to join the Wonderland Montessori community and serve the children, staff and parents at the Trophy Club campus.
